Public programs are open to everyone interested in beginning or continuing an existing meditation practice. The following classes, retreats and open meditations have a broad appeal and are designed to meet the needs and interests of people coming from many backgrounds and interests, including
Foundations of Meditation
Weekly
Class
This class is open to everyone. No previous meditation experience is required. Classes will include guided meditations, talks, exercises and discussion. The class format is set up to provide opportunity for personal guidance from a qualified teacher as well as for sharing experiences with others in the class. Each class will be recorded and made available on a weekly basis to registered students via the internet for listening and downloading. Participants are encouraged to re-listen to talks each week and to use the recordings to guide their meditation. Having the recordings also means that if you miss a class, you can listen to the recording and catch up before the next class. Introduction to Meditation 3 Hour Workshop Sunday January 24th 1:00 to 4:00 PM

We recommend pairing it with our 8 week ‘Foundations of Meditation’ course that begins on Thursday January 28. You can take this workshop to get a feel for meditation and what it involves.
