A New Earth:
Awakening to Your Life's Purpose

Weekly Class
on-site, or via audio recordings

September 23rd - November 25th

10 Tuesday evenings     7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Walk in the Woods - morninglight.usThis class is based on Ekhart Tolle's best-selling book A New Earth, Awakening to your Life's Purpose.  We will focus on how to directly experience the principles described and apply them in your everyday life.  Whether or not you have read this fantastic book or watched Oprah Winfrey's webcasts with Tolle, this is an opportunity to bring these teachings alive with the help of a local teacher who lives these awakened principles.  And you have the option to attend the 10 week live class on Tuesday evenings or listen to the downloadable audio recordings at your leisure (see below).

Classes will include talks, guided meditations, and awareness exercises designed to awaken you to the timeless True Self, and to free you from identification with the false self, the ego.  It is attachment to ego that creates the dysfunction of anger, jealousy and unhappiness.  Transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.  In this course you will learn how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence.

  • There will be weekly readings from the book, so please acquire your own copy before the first class.

  • No previous meditation experience required

  • Each weekly class includes an opportunity to raise questions and discuss material

  • Audio recordings of each class will be posted to the internet, accessible by all class participants for listening or downloading.

  • This class will include a half-day meditation on Saturday, November 1

  • Weekly remote meditation energy transfers from Scott will support your learning and experience of the material.
