Meditation Instruction 2 Hour Class Thursday September 23rd 9:30 - 11:30 AM OR 7:00 to 9:00 PM
Let us help you learn to do something that can change your life. With thorough instruction and skillful support anyone can learn to meditate. Meditation has enriched the lives of millions of people worldwide. The National Institute of Health is funding millions of dollars of research on the positive effects of meditation. It is fast becoming a staple in the healthcare environment and is now found in many fields including business, sports, education and psychology. This is not to mention its potential role in one’s spiritual life. Clear Light Meditation Group offers expert instruction from highly qualified teachers in a safe and nurturing environment. Please join us for a 2 hour workshop that can put you on a path to inner peace! This workshop is an excellent way to learn about mindfulness meditation. We recommend pairing it with our 8 week "Following in the Footsteps of the Buddha" course that begins on Thursday October 7. You can take this workshop to get a feel for meditation and what it involves. The 8 week class provides you with a support structure, additional instruction and everything you need to establish a regular practice. Also, when you combine this Workshop with the 8 week class you receive a combined program discount. Instructor: Scott McBride Location: The Center for Oneness, Ardmore, PA
Cost: $20 when
combined with "Following in
the Footsteps of the Buddha" (a $20 discount) Following in the Footsteps of the Buddha: Buddhist Meditation for Non-Buddhists - Part I Weekly
Class
This course is an in-depth experiential study of meditation based on some of the original teachings given by the Buddha. We’ll explore what he called the Four Noble Truths - condensed guidance on how to free ourselves from unnecessary suffering through meditation and how to lead a more conscious way of life. And we’ll examine the eight key aspects of his path to enlightenment. These teachings are of benefit to anyone with a meditation practice. We’ll approach our study from a modern, non-denominational, and psychological perspective with emphasis on how to apply what the Buddha taught in our daily lives. Classes will include meditation, talks, exercises and discussion. This course is designed to support those new to meditation as well as those with an established meditation practice. If you are interested in this class, but are new to meditation or to ClearLight classes – please plan to attend the "Meditation Instruction" class on Thursday September 23. You will receive a combined program discount. “Following in the Footsteps of the Buddha” will assume you have basic meditation instruction. Each class will be recorded and made available on a weekly basis to registered students via the internet for listening and downloading. Participants are encouraged to re-listen to talks each week and to use the recordings to guide their meditation. Having the recordings also means that if you miss a class, you can listen to the recording and catch up before the next class. Instructor: Scott McBride Registration Options:

A Cellular Dance of Oneness Three Evenings of Satsang with Florian Schlosser September 29th, 30th, & October 1st 7:30 to 9:30 PM “When the human body is allowed to be free, and plays innocently without interference, then there is the experience of Oneness. There is no conflict and no separation. Held in awareness, it is love in its purest form.”
In these three evening gatherings, Florian invites participants to engage in self inquiry to bring about direct recognition of who we truly are, to explore in a uniquely grounded and simple way any unconscious belief patterns that shape your experience. This meeting is an invitation to BE and EMBODY what we have understood…. to bring the beauty and transformative power of Non-Duality into the depth of the body, and therefore into daily life. When we live as an embodiment of consciousness, nothing is excluded. Everything is genuinely welcomed and embraced. Transformation takes place at a cellular level and the energies of stress and fear discharge from the nervous system. Being consciousness, we take part in the full activity of life while resting in the blissful arms of “the beloved”. Living as the space of awareness becomes our embodied reality in daily life, rooted in what we love the most - Being Free. ABOUT FLORIAN In April 2000 Florian awakened to the timeless recognition of being consciousness as the only reality. It was a fundamental realization that there are not "inside" and "outside" worlds which exist separately from each other. Florian describes it this way:
During the course of the following 10 years, there began a profound integration of that ultimate shift in consciousness into the body, accompanied by an ongoing transformation of the entire nervous and cellular system. For 9 years he has shared meetings and silent retreats through the year in various parts of the world. Instructor: Florian Schlosser Location: The Center for Oneness, Ardmore, PA
