As It Is:
The Non-Dual Path of the Great Perfection

Weekly Class

January 14th - March 17th

10 Monday evenings     7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

As It Is Volume 2 - Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.gifTruth is not arrived at by seeking outside our present experience.  It doesn't depend on conceptual knowledge or how hard we strive.  It is a matter of becoming intimate with this very moment of wakeful awareness, of knowing truly what is, and letting be.  This is known as natural awareness, the Natural State, or simply mind as it is.  Because this is so simple, it is easily missed.  Known truly, it is the essence of perfect being and perfect understanding, the fulfillment of our deepest longing.

Readings for this class will be taken from As It Is, Volume II, a collection of talks from Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.  This man was an incredible master, someone with extraordinary experience and realization acknowledged by all the greatest masters of our time.  His teachings pointing out the nature of mind are powerful in their simplicity, rich in meaning, and read like poetry for any student of meditation.  His wisdom echoes in the current generation through the teachings of his sons, who include Tsoknyi Rinpoche and Mingyur Rinpoche.

The course includes a Saturday morning group meditation intensive from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday February 9th.

Cost:  $125 if registered by January 9th, $150 thereafter

Instructor:  Nancy McBride

Location:  The Main Line Unitarian Church

Ferns forest - freefoto.com This week-end Retreat program is the culmination or high point of ClearLight’s advanced curriculum for the winter session.  It offers the precious opportunity for extended Dzogchen practice supported by both the teachers and the potent atmosphere generated in group meditation and inquiry.  Without a doubt, class time is akin to reading a menu, while retreat is like coming to the feast!

This retreat is open to all Level II students who have received training in Dzogchen or Mahamudra, especially those who have studied Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche’s and Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s teachings on Rigpa.  For those who did not participate in the current class but would like to reinvigorate recognition and resting in the natural state, you’re welcome.

The program begins Friday evening at 7:00 p.m., runs all day Saturday (from 9:30 to 5:00), and concludes Sunday afternoon (1:00 – 5:00 p.m.)  Nancy and Scott are teaching this program together and strongly encourage you to participate in the full schedule .
